Privacy

2Gigger is built so that we know as little about you as possible: no accounts, no photos, no names, no cookies, no tracking – and after the concert everything is gone. The German version of this notice is the binding one.

What we process

  • Listing: concert (band, city, date), age, gender, where you're coming from, languages, group size, preferred company and your email address.
  • Request: your email address and – if you write one – your message.
  • Report: the reason and a daily-changing, irreversible hash of your IP address (to prevent duplicate reports).
  • Abuse protection: for rate limits we keep daily-changing hashes of IP and email addresses for at most 24 hours – never the addresses themselves.

What is public

Concert, age, gender, where you're coming from, languages, group size and preferred company. Your email address is never public. We store it encrypted and only share it once both sides have agreed – and then only with the other person.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data to connect you with concert company at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Rate limits, bot protection and reports protect against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you email us, we use your message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep data

  • Listings, requests and reports are deleted automatically and permanently once the concert date has passed (at the latest the next day).
  • Unconfirmed listings are deleted after 24 hours.
  • After a successful match, the requester's email address and message are deleted immediately.
  • You can delete your listing yourself at any time using the link in your email.
  • There are no backups from which deleted data could be restored.

Service providers

  • Cloudflare (hosting, bot protection with Turnstile) – Cloudflare, Inc., USA.
  • Supabase (database, servers in Frankfurt, Germany) – Supabase, Inc., USA.
  • Resend (email delivery, sent from Ireland; delivery logs kept up to 30 days in the USA) – Resend, Inc., USA.
  • Apple iCloud Mail (mailbox for emails to info@2gigger.org) – Apple Distribution International Ltd., Ireland.

Data processing agreements are in place with Cloudflare, Supabase and Resend. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and local storage

We use no cookies and no analytics or advertising services. Your browser's local storage only remembers which listings you've already asked to join, so the button can show "Request sent". This never leaves your device. Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection only loads when you submit a form and sets no cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Just write to info@2gigger.org. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
